Daily Thoughts for 2009-10-27
- I'm 400th in line to have Brandon Sanderson sign my book. Hopefully I'm home before 2AM; if not, I have copious amounts of caffeine. #
- Standing in line to get my book signed and Brandon Sanderson wandered through (yes I got his permission to post the photo). #
- Here is the photo because I'm talking too much…
- The line is finally moving… Hurrah! #
- Made it home by 2:15 AM so not too bad. Unfortunately, now so wired from Diet Pepsi Max that sleep may be tooo elusive. Still worth it. #
- Co-worker told me we couldn't be friends, just acquaintances, since I would "… totally twist the friend thing." My reputation precedes me. #
- Snowed as I was riding into work this morning. If it freezes up during the day, well, it will be interesting… pretty though. #
- Snow! Aaaaannnddd I'm off to lunch. Glad it isn't sticking to the road or my bike might have issues.

- The dog would have scarfed down these spilled raisins and thrown them back up by now. Kitten, you're slacking off. #

- "England 932 A.D." #
- "There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya 'Bout the raising of the wrist, Socrates, himself, was permanently pissed…." #
- Ministry of Funny Walks! Ahahahahaha! #
- I want a box of Whizzo Chocolates for my very own! #
- Is… is your wife a goer? Does she go? I'll bet she does! Nudge, nudge, say no more! SAY NO MORE! #
- I know it is silly, sappy but dammit I really like "Mamma Mia". Pierce Brosnan rocks. #
- One of my favorite Beatles' songs, "I Will", beautifully warped and distorted. With video. Oh, just watch it already. http://bit.ly/4fmbfy #
- "Welcome to the world," he said wearily. "You get used to it after a while." — Mr. Young, 'Good Omens' #

- Bribing son to do his reading – 1 fruit chew for every 2 minutes. Working for now, 'til I run out of candy. I have just enough to make goal. #
- I completely forgot about the aliens. #
- "Eighteen years of total silence and you shush me?" #
- "Now you listen here: He's not the messiah. He's a very naughty boy. Now go away!" #
- "Out of the door, line on the left, one cross each." #
- I love Stephen Fry – love listening to him, reading his essays, and watching him act. A fantastic example: http://bit.ly/44dq8X #
