Yeah, I usually adjust quickly too - this is my fourth time in a year going somewhere more than 10 hours offset from normal and I had no real problems adjusting the other three. This time though, the sun is down early and even a full spectrum light doesn't help.

On the plus side, since it is now 10 days, it may be permanent so I'll just plan on going to work out in the mornings at 4 AM instead of in the evening when I never go.

that's a bummer :-/ I adjust pretty quickly. I try hard to follow a sun schedule as much as possible, and I try to spend time outdoors to help reset myself.

Yeah, only problem is... no hair where it counts. It would just look pathetic, bald on top and pony tail in the back.

I can't think of one, although it is possible. Usually I read one of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Chronicles of Narnia, or The Chronicles of Amber each year but I haven't even done that.

I'm reading a lot, just not fiction and I don't know why.

Sorry for the delay - apparently WordPress isn't emailing me comment notices anymore.

My foot - I bruised and inflamed the middle toe joint down in the middle of my foot so it is swollen about 2 inches in diameter and difficult to walk, but it is recovering with some moleskin to take the pressure off.

My shoulder - It has been injured for about seven years and most of that time I've dealt with an impingement problem. However, now that the impingement is resolved I still have pain in some motion and so on re-evaluation there is probably a tear in the cartilage. Small enough that it isn't worth operating on but enough that I have to be careful how I lift and such. MD advised some specific exercises to strengthen and take the strain off, but I have to be careful with bench press motions, etc.

Beautiful pictures!! I know that the palette is God's there, but you were able to capture the moment quite spectacularly.

Your little one is getting so big now! I love the smile.
