A Little Manual Labor
Posted in Commentary on 06/11/2008 08:57 am by Chris HansenWe bought a new freezer that was being delivered last night - an upright one instead of the coffin-shaped one we have now. Our current freezer is at least two decades old and probably older and not the most energy efficient. The very nice delivery person showed up to deliver, took one look and noticed that the freezer would cover the electrical panel, which isn’t allowed from a code perspective.
After looking it over for a few minutes, we rescheduled delivery for tomorrow morning and then I proceeded to empty, unbolt and remount all of the cabinets, moving them seven inches to the left.
How was YOUR day?
UPDATE 2008-06-12: The delivery of the new freezer went without a hitch and now the utility room is clean as it had to be cleaned to remove the old and put in the new.
Anyone want a freezer?
